Banana Bars
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 cups mashed ripe bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 4 cups podered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Grease the bottom of a 10.5 x 15.5 inch jelly roll pan
- Combine the first 7 ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
- Pour the mixture into the jelly roll pan. Bake 25 min.
- For the frosting, combine the remaining ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Beat until smooth.
- Frost the bars when they have cooled.
- Store in refrigerator
