Pizza Dough

Directions

  1. Combine 1 cup of flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Add garlic powder and dried basil.
  2. Add olive oil and warm water and use a wooden spoon to stir
  3. Gradually add another 1 cup flour and any other flour as needed
  4. Stir until the dough forms until a elastic ball. Should be sticky but manageable
  5. Drizzle separate bowl with olive oil and use brush to get it on the sides of the bowl
  6. Dust your hands with flour and form into a round ball and transfer to oil-brushed bowl
  7. Coat the dough ball in oil and place it in a warm place
  8. Allow dough to rise for 30 min or until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 425F
  9. Use hands to deflate once it has risen and knead until smooth
  10. Roll into 12" circle with rolling pin
  11. Transfer to parchment paper lined pizza pan and pinch the edges of the crust
  12. Drizzle some olive oil on top of pizza and use brush to spread
  13. Use form to poke holes in center of pizza. Add toppings
  14. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown
